Menu Reference¶
Every menu bar item in Transduce: what it does, and its keyboard shortcut if it has one. This is a lookup reference, organized the way the menu bar itself is organized.
Title Bar Shelf¶
The icon shelf at the top of the window is a quick-access strip for actions that also exist in the menus above — nothing here is unique functionality, just faster to reach. Every icon-bearing button in the shelf mirrors a View/Colour menu panel toggle and stays in sync with its checked state. Every shelf icon also shows a short text label underneath it, in four left-to-right groups (with flexible spacing between groups, so the outer two stay anchored to the window edges as it resizes):
- Project Settings — same as Edit → Project Settings…
- Standard / Compact / Dual / Conversion — the four View → Layout presets
- Effects / Layers / Color Match / New Viewer / Log Panel / Info / Metadata / Values — panel-toggle actions (Layers = Layer Stack, Color Match = the Color Match Panel, New Viewer = New Floating Viewer, Values = the Inspector)
- Render — renders whichever clips are checked ready in the Input Panel, same as the Output Panel's own Render button
Not every panel has a shelf icon — Input, Output, Colour,
and Add Clips aren't on it (Input/Output/Colour are part of every
default layout already; Add Clips is Ctrl+I). All of them are still
one click away from the View and File menus, and every panel keeps its
own keyboard shortcut regardless of whether it has a shelf icon.
Toolbar icon size. Small, Medium, or Large — set via View → Toolbar Icon Size, persisted across restarts.
