Project Settings¶
The canonical editor for everything about a project's output spec —
target resolution, delivery format, file organisation, and production
metadata.
Opened via Edit → Project Settings… (Ctrl+Shift+,) or the
toolbar's leftmost icon. A sidebar on the left switches between six
pages; changes apply when you close the dialog (or immediately for
some fields — see each page below).

Two related concepts worth keeping straight:
- Project vs Delivery profile — Project Settings holds your values for this project. A Delivery profile represents a post house's technical spec, saved once and loaded into any project that needs to conform to it. See Delivery profile below.
- Project Settings' Resize page vs the toolbar Resize bar — the same underlying fields, two views. This page is the canonical owner; the toolbar bar (see Toolbar & Resize Bar) is a live, synchronized partial view for quick access without opening this dialog. Editing either one updates the other.
Resize¶
Target width/height, pixel aspect ratio, aspect handling (Fit vs Fill & Crop), upscale mode (FAST bilinear vs ENHANCED SPAN AI super-resolution, with a Best/Medium quality choice when Enhanced is selected), and the resize filter (e.g. Lanczos). Identical fields to the toolbar Resize bar — see Toolbar & Resize Bar for what each one does; this page just presents them as a full-width form instead of a compact toolbar row.
Delivery¶
- Destination — the default export folder, pre-filled into the Output Panel's Save-to field on new or loaded projects. Not retroactive — changing it here doesn't move where already-queued jobs will write to.
- Default format — likewise pre-fills the Output Panel's format choice. Add to Queue is still a manual click either way; this just saves you from re-picking the same format on every new project.
- Frame rate — the project's target delivery frame rate, used for real retiming on export. This field moved here from the toolbar Resize bar (it's a Format/Encode concern, not a Resize one).

Delivery profile¶
A saved, loadable technical delivery spec — typically the result of analyzing a reference frame or clip from a post house, so every future project can conform to that house's exact requirements without re-deriving them by hand each time. Distinct from the rest of Project Settings: those other pages hold your values for this project; a Delivery profile represents someone else's spec, saved once and reused across many projects.
- Load… opens a saved profile from disk and applies it.
- Save as… saves the current Delivery + Resize values as a new named profile (enabled once a profile is loaded or analyzed).
- The page shows a summary of what the loaded profile sets — its Delivery values, plus a called-out "Also sets Resize" card for output resolution and pixel aspect ratio. This is deliberately visible rather than silent: those two fields live outside Delivery's own territory (they belong to Resize), so a profile reaching across and changing them is flagged explicitly.
Organisation¶
File organisation on disk only — Flat (everything in one destination folder), By clip (a subfolder per source clip), or By format (a subfolder per export format).
Filename/naming itself isn't configured here — it's a structured builder that lives in the Output Panel, right next to the format and destination it produces a file alongside. See that page for Custom Text, Include Clip Name, Batch Number, Version/Descriptor, and Frame Numbering.

Analyzer¶
Reads a reference frame or clip and detects its technical characteristics — source colour space, camera log, resolution — so you don't have to identify a post house's spec by eye.
- Drop or Browse a reference file. Video files show a scrubber (with 10%/50%/90% quick-jump buttons and a frame counter) so you can pick a representative frame; still images skip straight to analysis.
- Click Analyze. A progress bar runs while the frame is measured.
- Results appear in a card: a confidence badge, the detected values themselves, a pixel statistics breakdown, and — if something about the reference conflicts with your current project settings — a conflict banner calling out the mismatch explicitly rather than silently overwriting anything.
- To keep the result: give it a Profile name (the full descriptive name) and a short Resize preset label (what shows up in the toolbar's compact Preset dropdown — kept separate since a descriptive profile name is often too long to fit there), then Apply to project. This both updates the current project's Delivery/Resize values and saves a reusable Delivery profile for next time.

Production info¶
Optional metadata embedded in exported files: Production name, Episode/reel, Creator, Production company, Rights, Date, Post lab, Post supervisor, Colorist, and a free-text Description. Purely informational — nothing on this page drives any output setting; it's here so the information travels with your exports without you having to attach it separately.
