View Menu

Item Shortcut What it does
Input Panel Ctrl+1 Shows/hides the Input Panel (clip bin).
Output Panel Ctrl+2 Shows/hides the Output Panel (export settings — destination, format, Original mode — and rendering itself, with live progress/Cancel in its own bottom bar).
Effects Panel Ctrl+3 Shows/hides the Effects Panel.
Layer Stack Ctrl+6 Shows/hides the Layer Stack panel.
Color Panel Ctrl+7 Shows/hides the Colour Panel (colour correction; also hosts the Waveform/Vectorscope scope toggle).
Main Viewer Ctrl+8 Shows/hides the Main Viewer. The Main viewer can be moved between dock areas but not pulled out into a floating window (see New Floating Viewer below for that).
Show Effects in Viewer Ctrl+Shift+E Toggles whether the Viewer previews effects live, or bypasses them to show the graded-but-uneffected image. Checkable — also mirrored as a button in the viewer bar.
New Floating Viewer Ctrl+Shift+V Spawns an additional Viewer panel as a separate floating window — the way to get more than one viewer on screen at once. Each is independent (its own Source / Active Layer / Final Output mode).
Standard Layout Ctrl+Alt+1 Resets the whole window to the app's built-in safe/default arrangement. Use this if panels get dragged into an unusable state. This layout is baked into the app itself — it can't be overwritten by a user session.
Compact Layout Ctrl+Alt+2 Strips the window down to Input, Viewer, Output, and the Colour Panel — hides Layer Stack, Effects, Inspector, Log, Info, and Metadata. For a focused grading pass with fewer panels on screen. Doesn't resize/re-dock anything, just changes what's visible.
Dual Monitor Ctrl+Alt+3 Opens a floating Viewer and, if a second display is connected, places it full-screen on whichever screen isn't hosting the main window — useful for giving a client or DIT a clean feed to watch. With only one display connected, it opens as a normal floating viewer instead.
Conversion Layout Ctrl+Alt+4 A minimal Input | Viewer | Output arrangement for mass-converting clips — fewer panels than even Compact Layout, for pure format/resolution conformance passes without grading tools in the way.
Toolbar Icon Size — Submenu with three mutually-exclusive options — Small, Medium, Large. Resizes every icon in the top toolbar shelf immediately; the choice is remembered across restarts.
Log Panel Ctrl+9 Shows/hides the Log Panel (app diagnostics/history). Hidden by default.
Info Panel Ctrl+Alt+0 Shows/hides the Info Panel (per-clip INPUT/OUTPUT metadata side-by-side). Hidden by default.
Metadata Panel Ctrl+Alt+M Shows/hides the Metadata Panel (technical details plus editable shot/scene and AI-source fields for the selected clip). Hidden by default.
Inspector Panel Ctrl+Alt+X Shows/hides the Inspector (live pixel colour readout). Visible by default; also hidden automatically by Compact Layout.

Note

Render Queue, Vectorscope, and Curve Editor no longer have their own View menu toggles — all three were retired as standalone panels 2026-08-15/17. Render Queue folded into Output Panel; Vectorscope folded into the Colour Panel above; Curve Editor folded into the Layer Stack as a layer type. The Color Match Panel toggle (Ctrl+Alt+C) lives in the Colour menu, not here.
